You have done an awesome work. I have been studying Mandarin for the past 2 years. Even though I really enjoy learning it at school, the heavy load of work at my university doesn't let me continue my studies in Chinese. But this lessons are a great way to keep my chinese on the top of my head and keep improving by my own means. Thank you very much.

Serge, I am writing you from Colombia in South America. I would like to thank you for your work, very few mandarin teachers visit Colombia (almost none) you are the only hope for people in countries where acces to foreign lenguages is dificult like in my case. I would like to congratulate you on your effort to bring mandarin to people around the world.

As soon as I found out about the podcast and the web page, I told all of my friends. You now have sixteen new students who learn from my computer and are very grateful. Thanks to you we will learn basic conversation in mandarin. I am sure that if you keep it up, thousands even million of people around the world will remember you as the man who kindly taught the world not only how to speak Chinesse but also the man who helped the world become a more friendly and integrated place.

Once again,
Thank you!!!!

Serge, thank you for your Mandarin Chinese lessons. I listen to them in my car. I just found your podcast, and I find your way of teaching enjoyable. I have completed two lessons, and it gives me some confidence, that I will learn Mandarin.

I look forward to more lessons.

thanks again!

i incidentially stumbled over your mandarin training course at the itunes music store.
i will be sent to china for business reasons by my company within the next months and i figured out that your podcasts combined with the transcripts and additional material are a great preparation.

Thanks Serge for the Mandarin Lessons. I speak Cantonese myself and found the Mandarin lessons very useful. I have always wanted to learn Mandarin and stumbled across this whilst surfing the Net. I listen and practice in the car on the way to and from work. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Sure. I plan to make these lessons more and more complex. It is that I just need to start from the beginning.

great idea. i hope others will listen in. if you have more advanced speakers of mandarin listening, would you consider making your lessons more advanced? for exmaple, i've studied chinese for two years in the USA and then lived in China for two years. any suggestions on how to keep my Chinese up to speed while being back in the USA for several months? thanks
